Beskids - the most beautiful trails and routes for children
The Beskids are gentle, forested slopes, scenic meadows and pastures, hundreds of kilometers of trails: easy, but also sometimes quite demanding... Which of the Beskid trails to choose for a family hike? Here is our subjective choice of favorite, scenic trails for children in different parts of the Beskids.
Recommended trails for the whole family in the Beskids
From several hundred possible, from several dozen that we have walked with children, we have chosen one from each range of the Beskids. The selection criteria are very subjective:
- to have beautiful views,
- not to be too hard and too long (max. 16 km)
- to have a shelter on the trail (or 2 or even 3!), or a lookout tower
- to make a loop (go up and down different trails to the same place).
1. Silesian Beskids
Loop: Small and Big Czantoria from Ustron - this is a proposal for a walk with scenic meadows and 2 shelters (Polish and Czech on Big Czantoria) and a lookout tower.

2. 呕ywiec Beskids
In the 呕ywiec Beskids, of course, BABIA G脫RA reigns supreme, but we propose another route: a long walk, but with 3 pastures (even more scenic meadows) and 3 shelters, namely the Rysianka - Lipowska - Boracza loop:

3. Small Beskids
Do you know Leskowiec (Gro艅 Jana Paw艂a II) in the Small Beskids? We do too. That's why we suggest something different: here is the loop to Potr贸jna from Rzyki - there will be a small, atmospheric shelter and a large meadow!

4. Mak贸w Beskids
Yes, this is the one closest to Krakow with our favorite PTTK shelter on the KUD艁ACZE clearing. We recommend the loop from Por臋ba to Lubomir and Kud艂acze. Entrance green trail through Kamiennik:

5. Island Beskids
This time we propose the highest peak of the range: Mogielica. We will enter from the Rydz 艢mig艂y pass green trail:

6. S膮decki Beskids
Tired of long routes? this time something easy and short (even off-road strollers will do!), plus a shelter and a scenic meadow, namely a walk to Hala 艁abowska:

7. Low Beskids
Almost at the end, although in our list of favorite places, Magurski National Park is definitely at the forefront! We invite you for a forest walk, where the main attractions will be mysterious mossy rocks. Here is the loop from Folusz to Magura W膮tkowska and to the Kornuty Reserve:

Yes, because it's also a Beskids range! Of course, the king of Gorce is one: TURBACZ. Meanwhile, we invite you for a loop walk from Por臋ba G贸rna to Stare Wierchy and Maciejowa (again 2 shelters on one trip!):

In the easternmost Beskid range, we propose a quite classic, yet undoubtedly one of the most beautiful routes, namely the loop from Wetlina through Smerek and Po艂onina Wetli艅ska. On the way, you will visit the "new Winnie the Pooh's Hut" - be sure to let us know how you liked it!
