It is a steep and challenging ascent, but the view is absolutely breathtaking! Sokolica protrudes its rocky chest directly above the Dunajec Gorge. In the valley, you can see the blue ribbon of the river and small floating rafts... Sokolica is one of the main viewpoints of the Dunajec Gorge.

From Sokolica to Trzy Korony
The trail from Sokolica to Trzy Korony is not easy, but undoubtedly interesting. It is one of the most difficult trails in the Pieniny Mountains (but don't worry, it is far from the challenging trails of the Tatra Mountains). Older children with better fitness will surely manage it.

This is the most beautiful and one of the easiest routes to the most popular peak in the Pieniny Mountains - Trzy Korony. It leads through a narrow rocky gorge with high walls called SzopczaĆski Gorge. Even if you don't plan to conquer all three Crowns, it's worth coming here just for the gorge itself and a cup of coffee at the nearby 'Trzy Korony' shelter.

Pieniny Road from Szczawnica to Czerwony Klasztor
This is one of the easiest walking routes along the Dunajec Gorge. The trail is suitable for hiking, cycling, and even strolling with a stroller - although it should be noted that it is not entirely flat and paved! Along the route, we conquer a small hill, and after crossing the Slovak border, the road becomes gravelly and slightly rocky.

Wysoka
Wysoka, also known as Wysokie SkaĆki, is the highest peak in the entire Pieniny Mountains located in the Little Pieniny range. The shortest and most interesting trail to Wysoka leads through Homole Gorge.

Along the Ridge of Little Pieniny: Wysoka-Szczawnica
The best way to tackle this route is by descending from Wysoka (the highest peak in the Pieniny Mountains) towards Szczawnica. This offers a view of the distant Trzy Korony. The trail follows the exposed ridge, passing meadows and grazing sheep. We can stop for lunch at the 'Pod DurbaszkÄ ' shelter located lower down.

This is a cycling route around Lake Czorsztyn, located on the border of the Pieniny Mountains. It is one of the most beautiful cycling routes in Poland, connecting two castles - in Czorsztyn and Niedzica.
