Getting There and Parking

The trail starts in Kuźnice, about a 20-minute walk from Wielka Krokiew and right next to the parking lot of the lower station of the cable car to Kasprowy Wierch. However, during the season, it is better to look for parking space near Jana Pawła roundabout.

Green Trail to Nosal

We reach the summit via the green trail, and the ascent itself is not particularly difficult. We have to overcome an elevation difference of about 200 meters, which is really not much for the Tatras! However, the beginning of the trail involves a steep climb, and the rocks can be quite slippery due to its popularity. This initial stage was definitely the most challenging from a technical standpoint.

Many "Noses" of Nosal

Don't be fooled - along the trail, we pass many other prominent "nose-like" peaks, and each time we thought that was it ;) There are several "noses" on Nosal, and each of them offers a great viewpoint and a place to rest!

Nosal - 1206 meters above sea level

The summit of Nosal is a rocky ledge with steep cliffs. From here, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Tatras, the cable car leading to Kasprowy Wierch, and Zakopane below. Many people come here to watch the sunset.

Holes in the Nose!

The hole beneath Nosal, also known as the Hole in Nosal, is a horizontally-shaped cave located on its northwest slope. It is currently closed to tourists due to a rockslide blocking the entrance.
