Grzybowska Valley - How to Get There?
Grzybowska Valley is a valley in Zabierz贸w Forest, near Balice and Zabierz贸w. There is a free parking lot before entering the valley. From Krakow, you can also take a suburban bus from Bronowice Ma艂e, bus line 278, stop Balice Grzyb贸w N呕. (timetable)
Grzybowska Valley with a Stroller and Bicycle
The valley is accessible via a car-free asphalt road, making it perfect for a peaceful walk with a stroller or for young cyclists. The path is gentle for the first 1.5 km, offering numerous resting spots and picnic areas in the forest.
The asphalt road continues all the way to the "Zapa艂ka" Air Radar. However, towards the end of the valley, there are some steep slopes that may be tiring for young cyclists and stroller users. The downhill sections at the end of the route may also be too steep for younger children.
Spring in Grzybowska Valley
There is a spring in the valley, from which the small Grzybowski Stream flows along the asphalt path. The stream is fed by several sources.
The "Zapa艂ka" Radar
Topped with a spherical dome and standing at 30m high, the local residents call the air radar "Zapa艂ka". It is a distinctive point on the edge of Zabierz贸w Forest, located at the entrance to the forest from Le艣na Street in Zabierz贸w. The radar is visible, for example, from Pi艂sudski Mound and serves Balice Airport, as well as serving as a backup for Pyrzowice Airport.

Throughout the entire trail, there are many educational boards providing information about forest inhabitants, forestry, Jurassic rocks, the water cycle in nature, and the degradation of waste. Additionally, a "Forester's Helper" trail has been prepared for children, with points marked by vertical posts with task numbers and the project logo.

"Ska艂a Kmity" Reserve
For avid hikers, we recommend exploring the "Ska艂a Kmity" loop trail. The trail starts near the parking lot of Grzybowska Valley, at J贸zef Kruk Street. The trail within the reserve is rough at the beginning with steeper sections, but then it gradually becomes more pleasant and easier. The reserve, although small, is very interesting, and from the Kmity Rock, there is a captivating panorama.
