The route from the PTTK Shelter under Jaworzyna Krynicka to the PTTK Hut above Wierchomla is an easy, ridge walk through the forest with beautiful views and the opportunity to rest in two peaceful and atmospheric places.
Both shelters are located at similar altitudes, so there won't be any significant elevation changes along the way. Both shelters are secluded, atmospheric places with excellent cuisine and breathtaking views. What more could you ask for?

The PTTK Mountain Shelter near Jaworzyna Krynicka is located at an altitude of 1050 meters above sea level. It is a peaceful and atmospheric place where you can take a break from the hustle and bustle of the commercialized summit of Jaworzyna Krynicka. ...
...and then continue along the ridge, through Bukowa, Czubakowska, and Runek, all the way to the hut above Wierchomla!
Jaworzyna Krynicka - Runek
From the summit of Jaworzyna Krynicka, head first to the PTTK Shelter under Jaworzyna Krynicka (easiest and fastest way is the access road - about 15 minutes). From there, return to the ridge via the green trail...
...and then hike all the way to Runek along the red Main Beskid Trail.
As usual on ridge trails, there are some gentle inclines, descents, and flat sections. The path mostly goes through the forest, providing shade for most of the way.
Along the way, you will pass fallen spruce trees, limiting the view to the east:
Through Bukowa and Runek Czubakowski, the red trail will lead you to Runek, about 1 hour from the start at the shelter under Jaworzyna Krynicka.

Runek - Hut above Wierchomla
From the summit of Runek, we turn left off the main ridge and descend through the forest, meadow, and again through the forest along the blue trail towards Pusta Wielka:
Along the blue trail, will you notice this unique mini chapel?
After about 30 minutes, you will reach your destination!
PTTK Hut above Wierchomla
The hut awaits with delicious simple dishes, sweets, drinks, and above all, stunning views!

Attention: Closure of the trail on Jaworzyna Krynicka!
In the 2023 season, due to the construction of a new ski lift on the northern slopes of Jaworzyna Krynicka, a section of the red trail leading from the summit of Jaworzyna Krynicka towards the shelter has been closed. In this situation, the easiest way is to take the access road (detours are marked with arrows).

If you are going in the opposite direction: from the Hut above Wierchomla to Jaworzyna Krynicka, remember that it will be slightly uphill, so the journey may take a bit longer in this direction.
