The green hiking trail from Kozy (a village near Bielsko-Biała in southern Poland) leads through a scenic, disused quarry to the viewpoint summit of Chrobacza Łąka. The route is not long, but some sections are quite steep. In Poland, trail colors mark routes, not difficulty.
From Kozy to the quarry and to Chrobacza Łąka
The green trail starts in Kozy at the PKP (Polish State Railways) station. The first section (about 3.5 km) follows town streets to the forest edge. If you come by car, there is a large free parking lot on Panienki Street.
Pass the small 'Pod Panienką' chapel and take a narrow forest path that climbs to the quarry (about 1 km, 100 m elevation gain).
Tip: You can shorten this part if you drive higher to the parking lot on Piaskowa Street instead of Panienki Street. From there, the way to the quarry is easier and shorter.

Green trail: Quarry in Kozy - Chrobacza Łąka
The quarry in Kozy is at about 550 m above sea level. The summit of Chrobacza Łąka is 828 m, so you need to climb over 300 m of elevation on the steep north side of the mountain. Some parts are very steep. A narrow path climbs the slope and crosses many small streams flowing down from the ridge. Wear hiking shoes; it can be slippery after rain.
About 600 m before the summit, the green waymarks join the red trail (the Little Beskid Trail, Mały Szlak Beskidzki). The trail climbs to the summit with a characteristic cross and a small viewing platform facing north.
Chrobacza Łąka - mountain hut and viewpoint
The best panoramas are on the south side. Follow the yellow trail down to the mountain hut (about 3 minutes from the summit) - here there is a view of the picturesque Soła Valley, the Little Beskid Mountains and the Żywiec Beskids (with Babia Góra and Pilsko), and in very clear weather even the Tatra Mountains!
Tip 1. You can return to Kozy the same way (about 45 minutes to the parking lot on Panienki Street), or take the yellow trail via the 'U Panienki' pass; in about 1 hour 15 minutes you will reach the green trail on Beskidzka Street.
