The gondola lift from Szczyrk to Hala Skrzyczeńska and the cable car to Małe Skrzyczne are great ideas for a family trip to the highest peak of the Silesian Beskids. At Skrzyczne, a PTTK shelter and beautiful views await us!

Szczyrk: gondola lift to Hala Skrzyczeńska
The gondola lift (10-person gondola) at the Szczyrk Mountain Resort (address: Salmopolska 53B, Szczyrk) will take us to the scenic Hala Skrzyczeńska (1000 m above sea level). Here we can find the atmospheric restaurant Kuflonka and a large water reservoir, which is used for snowmaking on ski slopes in winter.
From Hala Skrzyczeńska, we can continue on foot or take the Hala Skrzyczeńska - Zbójnicka Kopa cable car, this time in the form of a 6-person bench.

What is the Szczyrk loop?
Two cable cars: from Szczyrk to Skrzyczne via Hala Jaworzyna >>> and the cable car to Małe Skrzyczne (via Hala Skrzyczeńska) can be combined into a loop and one combined ticket can be purchased for a total of 2 lines (4 sections of the cable car):

By choosing this option, we have to cover an easy section along the Skrzyczne - Małe Skrzyczne ridge (about 2 km, 30 min., minimum height difference - about 60 m). The road is wide and comfortable but quite rocky - with a stroller on big wheels, we'll manage!

Małe Skrzyczne - Skrzyczne
At the upper station of the cable car from Hala Skrzyczeńska, there is a ridge trail to Skrzyczne, which we can comfortably reach the top in about 30 min., to the PTTK Skrzyczne shelter and the upper station of the Skrzyczne - Jaworzyna - Szczyrk cable car, where paragliders start, and we can watch them from extensive meadows or the observation deck.

At the very top of Skrzyczne, a sign, mast, bench... and a charming frog await us.
