The Blue Trail to Barania Góra (1215 m above sea level) is a beautiful and attractive route to the second highest peak of the Silesian Beskids. Along the way, we will see the picturesque Biała Wisełka valley, the most beautiful water thresholds in the Beskids: Rodło Cascades, and at the end, a lookout tower and a beautiful panorama awaits us.
Start of the blue trail: Biała Wisełka Valley
Our hike starts in Wisła Czarne. We can get to the start of the blue trail by bus / minibus or by car: there is a large parking lot at the OSP Wisła Czarne.
Biała Wisełka Valley - blue trail
The first section of the trail (approx. 3 km) is a walk up a comfortable asphalt road along the cascading Biała Wisełka stream.
Along the way, we have several tables with benches, as well as information boards of the "Barania Góra" nature trail. We start from number 25, number 15 will be waiting for us at the top - this way we can count down and check "how far yet".

From Rodło Cascades blue trail to Barania Góra
The most beautiful place along the way awaits us right after the end of the asphalt walk: undoubtedly the water thresholds and waterfalls called "Rodło Cascades", whose name comes from the symbol of the Union of Poles in Germany:
After the Rodło Cascades, the path climbs quite steeply up the stream: from now on it will be "forest and terrain". The next stop is worth planning at the wooden shelter, after which we enter the Barania Góra Reserve.
Here, another section of the mini comic about grouses awaits us. It's number 19, so there are only 4 "stops" to the top!
Barania Góra Reserve
The reserve area covers practically the entire top of Barania Góra and protects primarily the natural spruce forest of the upper mountain forest, as well as the source areas of Biała and Czarna Wisełka. As you can see, dogs are not allowed in the reserve. Trails to Barania Góra that are available for four-legged friends include, for example, the black trail from Złatna, or the red one from Węgierska Górka, which only goes along the border of the reserve.
The blue trail through the Barania Góra Reserve leads us to the top with wide "switchbacks", we traverse slopes without particularly steep sections. Sometimes we walk through the forest:
Sometimes we get views to the north and the Wiślańskie Range: Malinowska Skała and Skrzyczne (with a mast):
The closer to the top, the thinner the forest becomes (windfalls, damaged spruces):
After reaching the ridge of the Wiślańskie Range, a very wide panorama opens up to us: from Skrzyczne, through the neighboring Żywiecki Beskids, and even the Tatra Mountains.
Just a rocky climb through the blueberry fields and we're at the top!

Congratulations! You have conquered the second highest peak of the Silesian Beskids! From the blueberry fields on the top of Barania Góra, views spread to the north, east and south, i.e. from Skrzyczne, Little Beskids, Żywiecki Beskids with Babia Góra and Pilsko, to the Tatra Mountains and Slovakian Fatra.
Thanks to the lookout tower, we will also look to the west, including the neighboring Czantoria Range:
