Mountain Hut Cyrla - Trails, Views, Attractions

Mountain Hut Cyrla near Rytro is located along the red trail: the main Beskid trail at the northwestern end of the Jaworzyna Krynicka Range. It offers a place to rest during hikes, delicious homemade meals, and accommodation options.

Cyrla Hut - Practical Information

The hut, or rather "mountain hut," is run by former hosts of the PTTK shelter in Hala Łabowska. It is a secluded place surrounded by greenery, arranged in a renovated old farmstead.

In the well-maintained area around the hut, you will find expansive meadows, a playground, a bonfire area, and a covered shelter:

Cyrla Hut - Views

In the vicinity of Cyrla Hut, you will find several scenic clearings. Just above the hut, 5-10 minutes up the red trail, you will be rewarded with a view to the south: you can even see the Tatra Mountains from here on a clear day!

Descending the red trail and taking the yellow municipal trail to the Makowica settlement, you will reach a clearing with a view to the southwest. Further down (30 minutes below Cyrla, along the red trail), you will find the beautiful Kretówki Clearing with a view to the west and the Poprad Valley (from both sides).

Cyrla - How to Get There?

To reach Cyrla Mountain Hut, you can drive by off-road vehicles on forest roads - for this purpose, it is necessary to contact the hosts in advance!

...but also the yellow municipal trail from Życzanów (about 2.5 hours) and the blue municipal trail from Młodów (about 2 hours) starting from the PKP station.

You can reach it via the blue trail from Barcice (about 4 hours), the blue + green trails from Nawojowa (about 3.5 hours), and the green trail from Nowy Sącz - approximately 6 hours (18 km).

Trails from Cyrla Mountain Hut

While at Cyrla, it is definitely worth walking to the main ridge of the Jaworzyna Krynicka Range and strolling along it to the scenic (and full of blueberries!) meadow at Jaworzyna Kokuszczańska (about 1 hour one way), or even further: to Hala Pisaná (1.5 hours), to the rock exposure at Czarczy Wierch (2.5 hours), and even to the shelter at Hala Łabowska (just under 3 hours).

P.S. The hike to Bacówka nad Wierchomlą from Cyrla will take about 5.5 hours, and to the end of the range, namely the summit of Jaworzyna Krynicka (shelter, cable car) - approximately 6 hours.
