Rudawy Embankments

Route length: 4.5 km

Walking time: approximately 1 hour one way for an adult

Starting point - entrance to the embankment: Krakow Blonia from Piastowska Street.

This is a safe, off-road route with no steep slopes - perfect for a family walk or bike ride, especially in sunny weather. The surface of the embankments is paved from Blonia to Na Blonie Street, and quite comfortable. Further on, the path becomes narrower with larger ruts and can be more muddy after rain - although less comfortable, it is still passable even for younger cyclists. The initial section from Blonia to Na Blonie Street is accessible for strollers.

The entire route is free from car traffic (except for crossing Na Blonie Street, which can be quite dangerous). There are no restaurants or shops along the route, so it's worth bringing some food with you as there are many spots for a family picnic! The route leads to Krakow Zakliki railway station, where trains from Krakow Glowny to the Airport operate. From here, you can also reach the Mydlniki bus loop (bus line 139).
