The Rock City is located in the Czech Republic, but very close to the Polish border, near the Polish K艂odzko Valley.

How to get there:

By train, we can reach the town of Kudowa Zdr贸j. From there, there are buses to the border town of Nachod in the Czech Republic.

From Nachod, we take the train to the Adrspach or Teplice nad Metuji station (if we want to see the Teplice Rocks). During the season, there is no problem with transportation, trains from Nachod station run very frequently. Train timetable in the Czech Republic. We arrived at the "Teplice nad Metuji sk谩ly" station.

Unlike mountain hikes, here the paths lead through a labyrinth of rocks, so there is no need to climb to the peaks, which is less exhausting - however, there are uneven terrains. For older children (3+), the trails will certainly be a terrain adventure - the passages and crossings between the tall rocks make a great impression. The Teplice Rocks are more wild, a bit less accessible, and therefore a bit less crowded with tourists - for us, it was an advantage. For beginner children and older people on a family trip, I would recommend the Adrspach Rocks, which are located 3 km further. The paths there are more even, covered with sandy-like sand.

The rocks have various, sometimes funny shapes that will definitely stimulate a child's imagination. The passages and crossings between the tall rocks make a great impression and provide pleasant coolness on a hot day.

Useful information: even on warm days, it's worth having a sweater or a sweatshirt for the child, especially in Teplice, where the rocks are located in the forest. Walking through the rocky mazes, even on a warm day, can make us feel chilly.

Less wild are the Adrspach Rocks, which are located in close proximity - in that case, we get off at the town of Adrspach. The paths there are wider, and the beginning of the trail can be easily covered with a stroller. From the Teplice Rocks, continuing the walk on the yellow trail will lead us to the Adrspach Rocks. It's worth seeing both parts of the reserve!
