The "Adrspach Rocks" rock city is an extraordinary place located near the Polish border: fantastic rock formations up to 100 meters high with the strangest shapes, including the "Elephant Market", the "Pitcher", and the "Lovers". They will definitely awaken the imagination of any tourist. You can also take advantage of the services of a guide who will vividly describe the rocks.
Adrspach with a Stroller
The first part of the trail is suitable for strollers, including people with disabilities. Wide paved paths (packed sand or wooden walkways) lead down the valley to a small clearing with a small waterfall and a shelter with benches.
From here, the rest of the trail continues with stairs - initially wide and fairly gentle, so you can try to bring the stroller along. After 10-15 minutes, you will reach a beautiful large waterfall hidden in a rocky cave. On the way back, it's worth taking the path to the left to the rock chapel (normally, the "non-stroller" part of the green trail passes through there).
The last section of the trail is also accessible for strollers - so, on the way back, before reaching the lake, you can turn left (that's where tourists exit after completing the full loop of the trail) and walk along the edge of the forest through Echo Glade until you reach a forest clearing with a "rock couch".
Adrspach - Route with Attractions
Tourists without strollers, after resting by the waterfalls, continue exploring the "New Parts" - right next to the cave with the large waterfall, there is a steep entrance (narrow stairs) to a lake where you can take a boat ride (additional fee).
If you decide not to take this attraction and do not head towards Teplice (yellow trail), you should return to the small waterfall and continue along the green trail to the left. It will lead you up and down endless stairs (often steep and narrow) between interesting rock formations, until you reach a viewpoint (Wielka Panorama) from where you can admire the rocks from above.
On this section of the trail, you will encounter the narrowest spot on the trail - the crevice called "Mysia Dziura" - our backpack with the baby just barely fit through!
The final section of the trail runs along the edge of the forest. You can exit earlier (at the side exit, there is a restaurant with a high chair for feeding) or return to the main entrance.
Adrspach - Picturesque Lake
Without a stroller, you can also take a walk around the lake (a former sand quarry) - about 1.5 km, following the blue trail. Along the way, you will find small sandy beaches and benches.
How to get to Adrspach Rocks?
By car - border crossings on DK35 (after Mieroszow) or DK5 (after Lubawka). The most convenient route is the tourist route - in Mieroszow, take Kwiatowa Street, through the Czech town of Zdonov, straight to Adrspach.
It is also possible to travel from Kudowa by bus to the Czech town of Nachod, and then by train to Adrspach (timetable).
Adrspach - Other Practical Information
- Even on hot days, remember to bring warm clothing! It can be chilly between the rocks, and in the long, narrow passages, it can be as cold as in a cave!
- At the main entrance, there are paid parking lots, food outlets, souvenir shops, and toilets.
- On the trail (except for one shelter and benches near Mysia Dziura), there are practically no benches or toilets - the narrow path and stairs make it impossible to "go into the woods" or "behind a bush."

PS. Slightly wilder and less crowded by tourists are the nearby Teplice Rocks (get off at the station or drive to the town of Teplice nad Metuji).
