Imka Glade (Free YMCA Parking)

The "Imka" parking lot is a glade located near the Stu Zakrętów Road (DW no. 387) near the entrance to Błędne Skały. There is a free parking lot here. The blue trail starts from the parking lot, which leads to Błędne Skały - the hike takes about 1 hour. If you enjoy mountain hikes, this is a good way to get to Błędne Skały because:

  • you avoid waiting for entry and exit from the upper parking lot, which operates in 15-minute cycles due to the one-way road that can get congested during the season due to its low capacity
  • you do not have to pay for parking
  • the trail goes uphill over quite large rocks and is steep in some places - like a typical mountain trail

You can find a very good description of the parking lot and directions to the parking lot on the website https://turystaklodzki.pl/parking-na-polanie-ymca/

The photo below accurately captures the character of the trail - there are large rocks and a fairly steep, typical mountain ascent. It is recommended to wear trekking shoes, preferably above the ankle. The rocks can be slippery after rain. We mainly walk through the forest, in the shade of trees.

Błędne Skały

Błędne Skały is a rocky labyrinth and undoubtedly one of the greatest attractions of the Polish Góry Stołowe (Table Mountains)! Entry to the labyrinth is subject to an admission fee. Within Błędne Skały, we have two options:

  • a small loop (the rocky labyrinth, takes about 40 minutes to complete)
  • and a large loop, which is a trail that goes around Błędne Skały. Both routes are worth exploring.
