The Rocky Labyrinth is the main trail for visiting the "B艂臋dne Ska艂y" (Errant Rocks). The path leads us through narrow passages among large rock blocks with interesting and imaginative shapes. Starting from the ticket office, we squeeze through rocks that reach up to 11 meters high, visiting viewpoints and impressive, sometimes exceptionally funny rock formations. It's a great adventure that will delight both children and adults!

  • Entry to the reserve is paid and limited, so it's worth buying a ticket in advance during the season. You can purchase it here.
  • The path is one-way and sometimes very narrow.
  • Passing through the path will be difficult with a baby carrier, a larger backpack, or with a baby in a sling (if there are two parents, one can take the baby out of the sling and pass them through the passage).
  • Due to the significant shading between the rocks, the temperature here is lower even in the summer (snow also lasts much longer) - it's worth having an extra sweater for yourself and the little ones.
  • You need to be very careful with children as it's relatively easy to get lost in the rocky labyrinth.
  • The path is also accessible after the ticket office is closed and during the off-season.

Loop through the Rocky Labyrinth

We start the tour at the ticket office - if we want to use the restroom, it's the last chance because we won't be able to turn back as the route is one-way.

Right after passing the ticket office, we can approach the viewpoint - the area of the Errant Rocks Reserve is located at the top of Skalniak at an altitude of 852 meters, so we have magnificent views of the surroundings from here!

Labyrinth and Rock Formations

Some passages are really narrow (in some places, the passage width is only a few dozen centimeters), and it's impossible to pass through them with a baby carrier, a larger backpack, or with a baby in a sling (if there are two parents, one can take the baby out of the sling and pass them through the passage). People with larger body sizes may also face difficulties on the route.

The Rocky Labyrinth is a wonderful attraction and challenge for children and a great idea for a family trip. However, it's also a place where it's relatively easy to get lost, so we suggest putting a wristband with the parent's phone number on your child, just in case.

Return to the Ticket Office

The return to the ticket office and towards the upper parking lot is a very pleasant forest path with viewpoints. We walk on concrete slabs, and although there are significantly fewer rocks here than in the labyrinth, some can still make a big impression.

Loop around the Errant Rocks Reserve

In addition to the passage through the rocky labyrinth, if you still have time, it's worth walking around the entire reserve, which is beautifully located. It's an additional 2.3 kilometers of easy forest walk with viewpoints.
