Trail to Dębowiec from Bielsko-Biała
Dębowiec is a small hill (but still a peak!) within the city of Bielsko-Biała. You can reach its foot by car (parking lots) or by public transport (bus stops Karbowa Parking, Armii Krajowej ZIAD). The climb to the top is easy and quick.
Dębowiec - red trail
The red trail leads along a wide beaten path. A leisurely walk will take us to the shelter in 15-20 min. With a stroller, or a little hiker, we will go a little longer - we have to overcome a hill! About 100 m difference in levels! The route can be ridden by bike, but uphill it won't be an easy ride... Downhill is a different story!
Dębowiec - attractions at the top
Dębowiec Glade is a great place for a family picnic. We can get here easily and quickly. At the PTTK Shelter, we can buy simple meals (and souvenirs).
Next to the shelter, there is a large playground, a chapel, but above all a vast picnic meadow (in winter there is a ski lift and a small ski slope - for sledding). In summer, an additional attraction is the all-year-round sled track. At the lower lift station (we can run down the meadow here) - there is a rope park "Under Dębowiec"

Just below Dębowiec there is a lower station of the gondola lift to Szyndzielnia (the lift also takes strollers, bikes). At the upper station of the lift, there is a viewing tower (entrance fee), and in about 15 minutes you will walk from here to the large PTTK Szyndzielnia Shelter and views of Babia Góra and the Tatra Mountains!
