The "Pod DurbaszkÄ…" Shelter is an excellent starting point for hiking along the ridge of the Small Pieniny Mountains, including an expedition to the highest peak of the Pieniny Mountains: Wysoka. The easiest way to get here is by the access road from Jaworki.
From Jaworki to the "Pod DurbaszkÄ…" Shelter
The road to the shelter is marked with a large signpost - you won't miss it! The easiest way to get to this place is from the parking lot under the Homole Gorge (you need to go back towards Szczawnica). You can also take a bus from Szczawnica.
The access road is not marked with a hiking trail. Along the way, you may only see signs for a horse trail:

The signpost promises a 45-minute walk to reach the destination, but in reality, the journey may take a little longer. However, we have to overcome a significant elevation difference - nearly 300 meters.
