This part of the boulevards offers the most tourist attractions! It is on this side of the Vistula River where you can find the monument of the Wawel Dragon and Wawel Hill. Along the left bank of the boulevards, you can travel from the Salwator district all the way to Nowa Huta.
1. Salwator and the Norbertine Sisters Monastery
You can start your boulevard tour at the Norbertine Sisters Monastery in Salwator, which is associated with legends such as the story of the Cracked Bell, the Maiden Rocks, and the legend of the Lajkonik - a traditional figure that starts its triumphant march from the monastery in Salwator to the Main Square.

2. Wawel Dragon and Wawel Hill
It is on the left side of the Vistula boulevards where you can find the fire-breathing and famous Wawel Dragon. Don't forget to take a souvenir photo with the dragon monument! Just behind it, there is a dangerous cave, but if you want to see it, you have to climb up to Wawel Hill - there you will find the entrance to the "Dragon's Den" (there is an exit from the cave near the monument). From the Wawel area, you can continue along the boulevards to Kazimierz - the former Jewish district of the city.
3. Bernatek Footbridge
Right next to the Kazimierz district, you will find a pedestrian and cycling footbridge with a collection of love locks attached to the railing, often in interesting shapes and with initials or names written on them. Couples attach these locks as a symbol of their love and throw the key into the river.
4. Kazimierz
Krakow's Kazimierz district is a special place - it was established as a separate city by King Casimir the Great. Before World War II, the entire area of the former city was inhabited by the Jewish population, creating a district with a unique atmosphere. Near the Vistula embankments, you will find the entrance to the Kazimierz Gallery with a fountain for children, a large playground, and a place to relax.
5. Beach and Playground in D膮bie Park
In D膮bie Park, there is a sandy beach with sun loungers and a caf茅, and a bit further away, a large playground for children.
6. Nowa Huta
The Vistula embankments stretch all the way to Nowa Huta. However, near Aleja Pokoju, there is an inconvenient descent with steep stairs for pedestrians and strollers. For those who enjoy longer bike rides, at the end of the embankment, you can descend to 艁膮ki Nowohuckie and make a loop back.
