The loop from Bielsko-Biała (Mikuszowice Śląskie neighborhood) goes up using the red and blue trails and comes down using the green trail, which is the old sled track (or the other way around). It's an easy mountain trip for families with kids, although there aren't any special views. Attractions include the Stefanka mountain hut with a playground, a charming gazebo at the top, and the ruins of the sled track on the green trail.

Climbing Kozia Góra from Mikuszowice Śląskie
To climb Kozia Góra, we recommend taking the red and blue trails from Mikuszowice Śląskie. The red trail starts at the end of Pocztowa Street (parking available at the Błonia recreational area), or there are spots for disabled visitors at the very start of the trail. You can also reach the start of the red trail by walking along a wide forest path from the Olszówka Dolna stop (green trail).

The red trail points towards Bystra. At the start of the trail, there's a historic stone altar table called Jan, a remnant of secret Protestant services from the 18th century.

A wide, rocky forest road climbs gently upwards (though there are steeper parts). Along the way, there's a covered shelter. After about 30-40 minutes, you should reach the intersection with the blue trail - there's also a shelter, table, and benches here.

The blue trail continues uphill, still wide and rocky, but the forest is much thinner, so it's sunnier. Just before the mountain hut, it joins an even wider rocky road.

Stefanka Mountain Hut on Kozia Góra
Stefanka Mountain Hut is located on a large clearing (but surrounded by forest - not a viewpoint). It's quite busy on weekends due to easy access. The clearing has many benches, tables, deck chairs, and swings. There's also a place for a bonfire, a playground with wooden houses, bridges, and a slide. The hut has a small dining room, restaurant, and accommodation options.

Kozia Góra - the summit
To reach the summit of Kozia Góra, continue further on the blue trail to the stylish gazebo. Here, you'll find a sign with the name and height of the summit, as well as a monument to Karl Steffan, a pre-war mayor of the city (hence the name Stefanka hut). It's also a viewpoint for the neighboring peaks of Klimczok and Szyndzielnia.

Kozia Góra - green sled track trail
To return to the starting point of the red trail, you can take a different route: the green "sled track" trail.
The green trail is a narrow, sometimes steep forest path - often over roots and stones. However, it's entirely in the shade (important on hot days!) and features attractions like the ruins of the sled track - sometimes quite large! In the 1950s, it was the longest natural sled track - over 2 km long!

The lower part of the track (from the intersection of the green and red trails at Błonia) is quite well preserved. The concrete and asphalt surface, about 1 meter wide, makes it a convenient forest path for wheelchairs and strollers! Of course, you can't reach the summit this way - the track ends at some point...
A reward for little feet that climbed Kozia Góra can be a playtime at the large playground at Błonia (food stalls, a bike town, mini-golf, restrooms)
