How to Easily and Quickly Get to Maciejowa?
Maciejowa is a perfect destination for hiking, even with young children. The most popular red trail from Rabka Zdr贸j has the disadvantage of either walking a long way through the town center or facing parking issues at the end of the asphalt road. But maybe it's worth trying from a different side?
Green Trail to Maciejowa from Jasion贸w
The trail starts at a narrow country road - there is a small parking area for a few cars:
From this point, turn left onto a dirt road:
Soon, we will reach a scenic meadow. One last look... and we enter the forest.
In the forest, there is a steep section that we will conquer in about 10-15 minutes.
The rest of the path is a wide "forest highway", which ascends lazily, sometimes leading us on flat terrain or even downhill...
PTTK Maciejowa Mountain Hut
After less than an hour, we reach the red trail, and after another 5-10 minutes, we arrive at the PTTK Mountain Hut on Maciejowa.
At the hut, you can enjoy warm meals, snacks, drinks, and souvenirs.
Surrounding the hut are expansive scenic meadows:
