The walk takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the weather and how often you stop. The route is not very difficult, but some parts are steep. You go down into the valley and then climb back up to Czajowice. The height difference is almost 200 m. On the blue trail, some rocky steps can be slippery.

From Czajowice to Ojc贸w
You can choose between two trails. The black trail is shorter and easier. In about 30 minutes, it takes you to the trout ponds, restaurants, and souvenir stands. The blue trail is a little longer and more interesting. It goes through a narrow valley between scenic rocks, all the way to Krak贸w Gate and the Spring of Love.
If you are not in a hurry, we recommend going down to Ojc贸w on the blue trail and returning on the black trail.
Blue trail: Czajowice - Krak贸w Gate
The blue trail goes along the side of the Ciasne Ska艂ki Gorge. In some places, it goes quite steeply downhill.
In the lower part of the trail, watch your step, but also look around at the rocks along the path. Do not miss the rock with a small "window":
After about 45 minutes from the parking area in Czajowice, you will reach the famous Krak贸w Gate, the Spring of Love, and the large rock above it called "R臋kawica".
Highlights of the Pr膮dnik Valley
If you turn left and walk up the Pr膮dnik Valley, you will pass Krowia Cave, a small open cave.
Next, you can choose one of two routes along the stream: the paved road, where you will find toilets near the start of the green trail to Ciemna Cave, or a quieter forest path. Both routes meet near the trout ponds, where you can try the local speciality: Ojc贸w trout.
Above the trout ponds there is Jonasz贸wka Rock, a viewpoint over the valley and the castle in Ojc贸w. Below it, you will find a fried trout restaurant, several food stands, souvenir shops, and toilets.
Black trail: Ojc贸w - Czajowice
The black trail leaves the Pr膮dnik Valley quite quietly, so watch for the trail signs. It goes between the ponds and the viewpoint, along an access road to an old wooden villa.
Then the trail climbs up wide forest steps. After this climb, the walk becomes easier, with no big height changes and no slippery rocks. Soon you will reach the place where the black trail meets the blue trail.

Ojc贸w and the trails in Ojc贸w National Park in winter
The trails in Ojc贸w are not as difficult as mountain trails in the Tatra Mountains, but be careful - they can also be steep and slippery!
Icy limestone rocks can be dangerous. Even small rocks under your feet can make you slip and fall. Wear good shoes. For children, warm padded trousers are also useful. They keep legs warm, soften a possible fall, and help prevent clothes from getting wet after landing on a snowy path.
