Będkowska Valley - how to get there and where to park?
Parking lots near Będkowska Valley: Paid parking on Jurajska Street in Kobylany and at the other end of the valley in Łazy.
You can also reach the valley by suburban buses from Krakow: from Bronowice Małe line 278 (Kobylany Remiza nż stop) or line 210 (Będkowice Pętla stop).
Będkowska Valley - is it accessible for strollers?
Będkowska Valley is approximately 8 km long and is one of the longest valleys in the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland. The entire length of the valley is marked by a blue tourist trail. From the paid parking in Kobylany, there is an asphalt path leading through the valley. There is a ban on car traffic in the valley, except for access to properties, the Brandysówka fish farm, and the campsite.
The asphalt road is very narrow, so even though car traffic is not heavy, passing cars with a stroller can be very inconvenient. It was even difficult for us as pedestrians. Due to sporadic car traffic, walking with a young child who can no longer walk freely or ride a bike or scooter can also be challenging.
We visited the valley on a weekday - perhaps on weekends, when there are more pedestrians, car traffic is less frequent? We did not have 10 minutes without a car... It became more pleasant after the Brandysówka fish farm. The further you go, the quieter the road becomes. The asphalt path leads us all the way to the source of Będkówka and then diverges from the valley towards Łazy.

Będkowska Valley - Brandysówka fish farm
Not far from Kobylany, along the valley, there is a beautifully located fish farm with breeding ponds. Here, you can rest in the shade of trees and enjoy fresh trout. You can also catch trout yourself. There is a place for a bonfire, and you can also bring your own grill.

Szum Waterfall
The Będkówka stream flows through the valley. Along the way, we come across the Szum waterfall - there is a path from the asphalt road to the waterfall. Here, you can rest and even dip your feet in the stream.

Brandysówka Campsite
Under a steep rocky wall, you can set up a tent and enjoy the closeness of nature. There is a restaurant and wooden shelters near the campsite.

Będkówka Spring
Continuing along the valley, we reach the source of Będkówka - it is the main outflow that gives rise to the stream. The spring releases around 50 to 150 liters of water per second! This high-yielding spring, fed by underground waters, where water flows under high pressure, is called a resurgence.

Nietoperzowa (Bat) Cave
Beyond Będkowska Valley (continuing further along the blue trail from the Będkówka Spring), you will find Nietoperzowa Cave. It is one of the largest caves in the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland. You can admire the largest bat habitats among the Jurassic caves here! It is definitely worth a visit.
