A Little Croatia in the Heart of Krakow!

Zakrzówek Reservoir was created by flooding a limestone quarry in 1990. Now, a new swimming area has been established there. The water here has a unique, turquoise color, and the wide wooden docks and steep limestone cliffs surrounding the reservoir give it a vibe similar to Croatian resorts.

  • entry to the swimming area is free, but there is a limit on the number of people
  • access to the pools with a stroller is not easy, the ramps are steep and the stairs quite high
  • the swimming area is supervised by a lifeguard from 10:00–18:00, 7 days a week during vacation period until September 3
  • swimming outside the pools in the reservoir area is at your own risk
  • pets are not allowed in the water in the pool area
  • on Mondays, the swimming area is closed (maintenance day)
