Pan Twardowski

Once upon a time, there lived a sorcerer named Jan Twardowski in Krakow. He knew that with the help of the devil, he would have greater power for his spells. The devil agreed to help him, but in exchange, he asked Twardowski to sign a pact with his own blood, stating that the devil could take his soul to hell. Twardowski did not want to give his soul to the devil, so he came up with a trick - he added to the pact that the devil could only take him to hell in Rome. With the devil's help, Jan Twardowski became the greatest sorcerer in the country - he flew around Poland on a giant rooster and helped people by healing them and removing evil spells. He also created the only desert in Poland - the B艂臋d贸w Desert.

How was the B艂臋d贸w Desert created?

How was the B艂臋d贸w Desert created?

Curious about the origin of the B艂臋d贸w Desert? Its sands are remnants of the Ice Age. However, there used to be... a dense forest here! ...

Above all, he continued to live and practice magic in Krakow - his laboratory was located in Krzemionki, now known as W. Bednarski Park. It is said that the rocks in Zakrz贸wek were formed from an explosion during one of J. Twardowski's experiments (hence the name 'Twardowski's Rocks'). Meanwhile, the devil could not wait for Twardowski to go to Rome, and he also didn't like that the sorcerer was using the power given to him for good magic. This time, the devil came up with a trick - he invited Twardowski to a tavern for lunch. When they entered, it turned out that the tavern was called 'Rome'. The devil snatched Twardowski high above the ground. The cunning sorcerer did not want to go to hell, so he started to pray, which the devil could not stand. The devil dropped the sorcerer, and Twardowski supposedly fell on the moon and is still there!
