Vineta, Jomsborg or Wolin? The history of the Wolin stronghold, despite many years of excavation, is still partially covered by the legend of a sunken, wealthy city. It's really worth getting to know these stories, and the best place to do so is the open-air museum in Wolin! (We recommend virtual stories on the website wolinwsieci.jomsborg-vineta.com)

Slavs and Vikings Center - attractions

The open-air museum operates on the principle of a "living village" - not only do we look at the reconstructions of the wharf and several huts, which were built based on archaeological excavations in the area (descriptions on information boards), but we observe the life of the inhabitants.

Peeking inside, we meet craftsmen: potters, jewelers, herbalists, bakers.

We can watch their work, buy products, try traditional pastries.

Slavs and Vikings Center - for children

For children, a separate playground has been prepared, but the biggest attraction will be the opportunity to make a toy from clay, shoot from a bow, or play with a fortress model.
