The viewpoint was here a very long time ago, when the stone building was just an observation tower. Today, after the addition of a superstructure, it is now just an electronically controlled lighthouse, not open for tours.

Kikut Lighthouse - Surroundings

The lighthouse stands on a hill, in the forest. Right next to it, you will find a wooden shelter and information boards. Interestingly, although the lighthouse itself looks unassuming, thanks to its location on a large hill, it boasts the highest light height on the Polish coast.

Kikut Lighthouse - How to get there

Although we cannot visit the lighthouse itself, it can be treated as a destination for a forest walk or a coastal hike.

From the forest side, there is a red trail leading here. The forest road from Kołczewo is wide and beaten, even though we sometimes walk up and down the hill, we can manage with a large-wheeled stroller or bike.

Approaching the Kikut Lighthouse from the beach

Walking along the coast from Wisełka (east, about 1.5-2 km) or Międzywodzie (west, about 6 km), we need to find an entrance with a black trail - note, there are two, but both lead to the destination. At the intersection with the red trail, we turn left, uphill.
