The Center for Education of Tradition named after Jan Potocki, located in the buildings of the Orangery and the Riding Hall of ĆaĆcut Castle, is a modern interactive exhibition opened in June 2022. Created and arranged with families with children in mind, but it will certainly interest guests of the Castle of all ages!
What will we see at the Center for Education of Tradition in ĆaĆcut?
Firstly, we will not only see, but also touch and experience!
A visit to the former Orangery will not be a traditional form of sightseeing, but an active journey through history, using modern technologies at the same time.
Visitors to the Center for Education of Tradition have the opportunity to travel back in time to the world of the former owners of the residence. Here, they will find answers to questions about what they were occupied with, what daily and holiday life looked like, what they read, and how they traveled.
Center for Education of Tradition - attractions
The multimedia presenters not only provide information and interesting facts about the lives of the Castle's inhabitants, but also offer numerous games. Interested visitors can, for example, light a fire in a virtual stove in the orangery or choose an outfit for an elegant lady.
They will also learn the secrets of the castle kitchen and even have the opportunity to dance a minuet on a multimedia floor inspired by the floor in the Ballroom of the ĆaĆcut residence.
Another attraction is a replica of a balloon, which allows you to take a virtual flight over the former ĆaĆcut, observing it from a bird's eye view.
