In the extensive Castle Park, you will find both shaded alleys and sunny meadows. The main attractions are the large, over a century-old trees, including many rare specimens, shrubs, and flowers, as well as a pond with water lilies, red fish, and ducks, and a small water reservoir near the tennis courts.

The park is divided into two parts:

Inner Castle Park in Łańcut

This is the inner park, located near the Castle, within the moat.

Here, you will see historical gardens: the Rose Garden near the Orangery and the Italian Garden behind the Castle with fountains and a changing perennial border throughout the season.

Entrance is only possible through the bridge at the main castle gate - tickets can be purchased at the ticket machine (only card payment) or at the Museum Ticket Offices (cash or card payment). Dogs are not allowed in this part of the park.

We can only walk on the alleys, not on the lawns, and we should not pick flowers or climb trees. The castle guards may warn us for not following the rules through the speakers.

Landscape Park, also known as the outer park

The park located outside the castle moat is an English-style park with large grassy meadows and picturesque groups of trees. It has a very natural character. Here, we can run on the lawns and have family picnics.

In the western part, we will see a pond with water plants and a flock of wild ducks.

All the alleys in the park are in very good condition. The only (minor) inconvenience may be the rainwater drains. Benches are mainly placed in the large alleys.

Entrances are located on Kościuszki Street (at the corner of Zamkowa Street - main gate, and near the Romantic Castle opposite the Communication Center) and on 3-Maja Street (e.g. near the Riding Hall and the Coach House). Admission is free.

Łańcut Castle Park - attractions

The main attraction of the Castle Park is the rare specimens of majestic trees that change with the seasons. The park is a good place to observe plants and animals - in the summer, you can see storks, and in winter and autumn, foxes.

Łańcut Castle Park - Orchid House

The park also houses the Orchid House, a greenhouse with hundreds of beautiful orchid specimens (admission fee at the entrance).

Of course, it is also worth visiting the Castle itself! Make sure to go inside and visit the beautiful historic interiors:
