Park's History

In its early existence, the city laid out paths and took care of the central part of the park. After the war, thanks to the work of residents, the park was organized and restored to its former glory. In the 1960s, Zielona Park was a place full of attractions - there was a city zoo with brown bears, deer, foxes, and birds, and you could kayak on the lake. The park also had an outdoor swimming pool measuring 20 脳 50 m.

In 2018, the park underwent a major renovation, which referred to the park layout from the 1930s. Today, walking around the park, we can admire a fountain with a beaver figure, a large playground for children, a pond with a pier, and a second, larger fountain. The wide park paths are perfect for cycling or rollerblading, and for thirsty and hungry walkers, cafes are waiting. There are also toilets in the park.
