How to Get to the Observation Tower on Kamionna?
Due to the construction of a new parking lot near the access road and the proximity of the upper station of the Laskowa Ski lift, the summit of Kamionna is very easy to reach. There are also several hiking trails of different lengths and difficulty levels to choose from.
Note: Change in Trail Routes on Kamionna!
If you are using maps published before 2024, note that the routes of the PTTK trails - blue and yellow - near the summit of Kamionna have changed: now both trails bypass the summit and the tower. Today, signs lead to the tower, the blue and yellow markings have been painted over, and only the St. James Trail (white shells on a blue background) and the Main Beskid Wyspowy Trail (GSBW) remain marked on trees.

Parking - Observation Tower on Kamionna by Car
Parking for those driving to the observation tower is about 300 meters (10 minutes) from the summit. There is a height difference of about 30 meters to overcome, but the road is rocky and quite steep, making it unsuitable for strollers. First, you walk on a forest path, which is fairly comfortable, but then - at the height of the upper ski lift station - you turn left, and the road becomes rocky and quite steep.

Kamionna in Winter: Chairlift to the Observation Tower
In the winter season, when reaching the parking lot might be difficult, you can use the Laskowa Ski chairlift (check if the station is operating on the day!). The upper lift station is also a viewpoint accessible to those who, for various reasons, do not climb the tower.

Shortest Trail to the Observation Tower on Kamionna from Rozdziele Widoma Pass
The blue trail from Rozdziele Pass (PKS Rozdziele Widoma stop and a small parking lot) to the summit of Kamionna is about 3.5 km and takes 1.5 hours one way. You need to overcome about 270 meters of elevation. At the height of the upper ski lift station, you must turn left from the blue trail and follow the signs of the St. James Trail (white shells on a blue background).
Choosing this route, it's good to know that it mostly follows an asphalt road through the settlements of Adamczyki, Dzia艂, and Zadziele. An additional attraction is the possibility of stopping at the Bac贸wka restaurant in Zadziele.

To Kamionna from 呕egocina
From the center of the village of 呕egocina, the yellow trail leads to Kamionna, which currently bypasses the summit and the tower - you need to approach them via the St. James Trail, which branches off from the marked trail at the height of the upper ski lift station. Choosing this route, consider that leaving your car in the village center parking lot, the first 1.5 km (about 40 minutes) must be walked on asphalt (there are no more parking lots higher up).

Through the Forest to Kamionna via Pasierbiecka G贸ra
A longer but very pleasant forest route leads to Kamionna from the village of the same name via the summit of Pasierbiecka G贸ra (764 meters above sea level) and the "Kamionna" Nature Reserve. Its advantage is that, unlike the trails from Rozdziele Pass and 呕egocina, here you mainly walk through the forest. The route is of similar length and difficulty, but remember that the section of the ascent to Pasierbiecka G贸ra is quite steep.
