It will allow us being by the sea to reach the peak of a "real mountain", and get to know the inhabitants of the Wolin National Park.
The Black trail in Mi臋dzyzdroje starts with the ornamental "Kawcza G贸ra" gate at the fishing port, just above the last (or the first from the east) descent to the beach.
Contrary to the inscription on the gate, it will not only lead us to the top of a 56-meter hill!
The first attraction are the famous "twisted" wooden stairs to the beach... unfortunately, they were closed in the 2021 season...
The very top of Kawcza G贸ra is a gazebo, an information board, and a view of the sea. Probably much more attractive in autumn or winter, when the leaves of trees and bushes do not obscure the view...

The Black trail then leads us to the Bison Reserve, but it's worth going "behind the barbed wire", that is, to the historical-natural trail Bia艂a G贸ra. Its main attractions are concrete bunkers, permanent artillery positions, and even a historic observation tower (no entry possible). You can read about the history of the place on the boards, and at the end of the trail, there are tables and benches.

We return to the "bison" trail, cross the asphalt road, pass the Kwasowo parking spot (also a gazebo here). We have less than 2 km to the reserve: first on the black trail, then a short detour on the green trail. In the reserve, there are toilets, beverage vending machines, souvenirs, tables... and of course, a meeting with the animals!

We can return the same way, but it will be more interesting to complete the loop by reaching the WPN Natural Museum via the green trail (you can also visit!), and thus return through the town to the starting point.
PS. If we are not staying in Mi臋dzyzdroje and are just passing through, for example, on a trip, we can stop at the forest car park by the road (where the black trail crosses it) and go for a walk from there. According to the signs, parking is free for up to 2 hours, but there is no supervision (2021 season). In total, we have 7 km to cover, which is at least about 2 hours of walking (to which we can add numerous stops, visiting the Bison Show Reserve and the Natural Museum).
The section of the trail through Kawcza G贸ra and Bia艂a G贸ra is definitely not suitable for a stroller.
The section from the car park to the Bison Show Reserve and the WPN Natural Museum can be managed with a large-wheeled stroller (sandy in places).
Attention! Remember that the black trail leads through the area of Wolin National Park, which means that all "park" restrictions apply, including the prohibition of bringing dogs.
