Easy trail for a family walk with views

Are you looking for an easy route for a short hike with your whole family? With easy access without traffic jams and without crowds on the trail?

We recommend a walk through the gentle hills of the Beskid Myślenicki, for example between the peaks of Koskowa Góra and Parszywka, which are less than 3 km apart:

Trail to Koskowa Góra and Parszywka

The trail connecting the two low peaks of the Beskid Myślenicki (Parszywka 842 m above sea level, Koskowa Góra 867 m above sea level) is a not very demanding route, we walk on a wide paved road, without major difficulties. The trail is suitable for hiking even in more challenging conditions - for example, in winter, in the snow.

Getting to Koskowa Góra

You can reach the yellow trail connecting both peaks by car: from Skomielna Czarna, head towards Bogdanówka.

From the chapel to the top of Koskowa Góra, it takes about 30 minutes. There is a relay station on the summit. The summit is flat and extensive.

From Koskowa Góra to Parszywka

From Koskowa Góra, we return to the parking lot near the chapel and follow the yellow trail to Parszywka.

Just below the summit of Parszywka, there is a Weronika chapel, and a little further, also along the yellow trail, a viewpoint of the Tatras.

We return from Parszywka the same way, following the yellow trail to the pass below Koskowa Góra.

Wrzosowy Dwór - Parszywka - Koskowa Góra

Another idea for a walk between the peaks of Parszywka and Koskowa Góra is to drive to the Wrzosowy Dwór restaurant in the Parszywka hamlet. We can have a meal here before and after the walk. From Wrzosowy Dwór, we climb to Parszywka, then follow the yellow trail to Koskowa Góra and back:

If we don't want to drive to the ridge, we can also reach this place by following the blue trail from Bieńkówka: initially between buildings, through meadows and forests. The road is wide, without difficult terrain - but still uphill:
