Karpatka - magnificent hill in the center of Karpacz

The trail will take you about an hour. Unfortunately, strollers are not suitable for this route. However, it is a great trail for children. I went with a 3-year-old and a 5-year-old. It was a great hike for the older one, and the younger one managed as well (although I think it may be a year too early for him).

There are many tree roots along the trail, and the path is not very wide.

We start the trail in the park near the Dam on the Łomniczka River. In the park, you will find interesting metal animals (you will definitely spot them).

You can park your car either near the park (municipal parking) or closer to the center (private parking lots).

Red and blue trail to Karpatka

We follow the red trail towards the dam. Just after the dam, we turn right, following the red trail. We walk slightly uphill along the slope of Karpatka until we reach the blue trail, which turns left (sharply uphill).

Then we switch to the blue trail and continue on this path to the summit of Karpatka, where a beautiful view of the panorama of the Karkonosze Mountains awaits us.

The return route can be the same as the ascent, or you can continue on the blue trail, which will lead you back to the dam from a different side.
