From the Forestry Promotion Center Muczne to the viewing tower
When you arrive in Muczne, you can see the tower, but finding the signs to it can be a bit challenging... It's no wonder that most tourists simply head through the meadow towards the forest.
Just behind the CPL building, you will find a sign with an arrow. Cross the bridge and start climbing through the forest.
Although the viewing tower on Jeleniowatym has been standing here since autumn 2019, as of summer 2022, the educational trail leading to it from Muczne was still only "planned", which means we climb through the forest following the footsteps of our predecessors.
The trail is quite wild, narrow, and steep. Fortunately, the path is well visible - you won't get lost for sure.
An interesting attraction along the way are the fascinating shapes created by dead wood. To add some excitement to the arduous climb, we suggest playing with children and imagining what fairy-tale figures or decaying trunks they resemble.
Is it a forest troll or maybe a fox?
Just before reaching the summit, we have two options:
No worries: both paths will lead us to the tower!

And what awaits us at the tower itself?

Route to the viewing tower through the Brenzberg forester's lodge
Another route to the viewing tower on Jeleniowatym in Muczne goes more around, through the area of the former Brenzberg forester's lodge.
First, we walk along the educational trail "Around Muczne" (or the side of the asphalt road) for about 1 km / 20 min.
We reach a forest parking lot and enter the forest following the path marked with red signs (in theory, you can also drive here, but for example, in July 2022, the parking lot was closed with a barrier...). We climb uphill for about 30 minutes. At the ruins of the forester's lodge, we turn left. The whole route will take about 1.5 hours one way.
