The observation tower on Jeleniowaty Hill (907 meters above sea level) in the village of Muczne is the tallest observation tower in the Bieszczady Mountains. It stands at a height of 34 meters, and from the viewing terrace, which can be reached by climbing 176 steps, you can enjoy a breathtaking panorama of the surrounding ranges and mountain peaks.

The views from the viewing terrace of the tower are awe-inspiring (as is the wind, by the way!). You can see Halicz, Kopa Bukowska, and Bukowe Berdo to the west, CaryĆska and WetliĆska Poloninas to the north, as well as the vast San Valley and the Ukrainian Carpathians to the east and south.
Jeleniowaty Observation Tower - Panorama Description
From the tower in Muczne, you can enjoy beautiful views in all four directions, although the panoramas have not been described. So, in the gusty wind (because it's almost always windy on the tower), we take out a map and locate the various peaks ourselves. For example, here is the view to the west: the Halicz, Kopa Bukowska, and Bukowe Berdo range:

Ps. You won't be able to see Tarnica, as it is hidden by the ridge of Bukowe Berdo, but Muczne is clearly visible:

- Open 24 hours
- The paths to the tower are outside the boundaries of the Bieszczady National Park, so you don't need to buy entrance tickets and you can walk with your dog.
- Pets are not allowed on the tower itself
- Children under 13 years old are not allowed to climb the tower alone
