Lake Paprocany, also called Paprocany Lake, is an artificial lake in Tychy. It was created for industry, but over time it became one of the most interesting recreation areas in the Silesia region. The cycling route around the lake is about 6 kilometers long. This is a good distance for beginner cyclists and families with children. More experienced cyclists can also include this route in a longer trip around the area.
- The whole route has a firm surface, such as compacted gravel or paving stones. This makes it comfortable to ride in every season. It is also good for walking with a stroller.
- Part of the path goes through the forest, so on hot days you can find some shade.

If you want to relax by the water in a more lively place, visit "Dzika Plaża", which means "Wild Beach". There is a nice bar with deck chairs and umbrellas.

Promnice Hunting Lodge
Near the lake, there is also Promnice Hunting Lodge. It was built in 1861 by the Hochberg family. In the past, it was used as a residence for aristocrats. Today, it has a restaurant and a conference center. It is an interesting stop during a walk and a good example of architecture from the time when Silesia was part of Prussia.
The lodge is currently under renovation.
