Chairlift to Szrenica Mountain
The lower station of the chairlift to Szrenica Mountain is located in Szklarska Poręba, on Urocza Street. The chairlift has double seats, and the staff is helpful in seating children. There is a safety bar on the chair. During the ride, we often go above the trees, so it is worth checking beforehand if the child is afraid of heights.
Once we reach the top, we can take long walks along the mountain ridges without descending, which means that the differences in altitude on the trails are small and can be easily walked even with small children.
At the Top of Szrenica Mountain
It is much cooler and usually windy at the top! It is advisable to wear a fleece, windproof jacket, hat, etc. The border with the Czech Republic runs near the top of Szrenica, so it is important to have identification for your child. Numerous hiking trails lead from the top of Szrenica, and you can also simply take a leisurely stroll and enjoy the magnificent view.
Trzy Świnki Rocks
Located right next to the upper station of the chairlift to Szrenica Mountain, it is an excellent place for children to play!
From Szrenica to Śnieżne Kotły (Snowy Cauldrons)
One of the highly recommended routes from the top of Szrenica is the trail to Śnieżne Kotły. We believe it is really worth seeing! Śnieżne Kotły are glacial cirques. It takes about 1.5 hours one way to reach Śnieżne Kotły from the top of Szrenica (the trail is mostly flat and sunny).
