The forest path, known as the Coral Trail, will lead us to the main ridge of the Karkonosze Mountains from the forest rocks of Paciorków. There will be some climbing, but also flat paths and beautiful views.

Beginning of the Blue Trail in Jagniątków

Buses from Jelenia Góra go to Jagniątków. We can leave the car in the center, by the road, near the church, or at a few small paid parking lots on private properties.

After passing through Jagniątków on the trail, near the Karkonosze National Park center, we enter the forest (unfortunately, there is no parking available here). The path ascends through the forest, but not too steeply. The journey is enriched by informative and educational boards.

It becomes more rocky in the area of the Coral Rocks - Paciorków. Here, a viewpoint awaits us.

Coral Trail - Attractions

A viewpoint near the rocks, a clearly visible weathering basin, and an interesting information board, from which we will learn that the name of the trail does not necessarily come from scattered coral-like rocks, but from the distorted name "górale" (highlanders).

After the Rocks - Paciorki, we can take a moment to rest: the path leads us to wooden platforms above the marshy meadows.

We reach a junction with the green trail: Rozdroża pod Śmielcem - from here, we can go to the viewpoint at Rozdroże pod Jaworem to see Czarny Kocioł Jagniątkowski and Wędrujący Kamień (10 minutes downhill, 15 minutes back).

As we go higher, it becomes steeper and more rocky (but without difficult high rocky steps), and we are rewarded with beautiful views - down to the Jelenia Góra Valley and to the rocky peaks and walls of the Jagniątków Basin.

We can go west - after 10-15 minutes, we will reach the rocky summit of Śmielec, or east: to the group of rocks called Czech and Silesian Stones, and then return the same way to the starting point.

If we continue further west, we will reach Śnieżne Kotły and through the Pod Łabskim Szczytem shelter, we can return to Jagniątków via the black trail.
