A small but extraordinary and mysterious place a few kilometers south of Miedzyzdroje.
V3 Weapon Museum - visit
Here you can see the ruins of the secret weapon launch site used by the Nazis during World War II, as well as a collection of military exhibits from various sources and places, which are interestingly narrated by a competent guide.
The most impressive for our kids were the boots of a military guard from Stalingrad - check it out for yourself!
Ruins of the V3 weapon launch site near Miedzyzdroje
The ruins of 3 launchers are located in a nearby forest, you need to climb a fairly steep forest path to get to them, but the whole walk, including the descent, will not take us more than an hour.
Bunker Museum - practical information
Entrance to the launcher ruins is free. We pay (only in cash!) for admission to the exhibition in the bunker.
Although there are not many exhibits, it is worth listening to the guide's interesting story.
You can also take photos with the exhibits.
There is a small shop with souvenirs, maps of the region near the bunker.
The food point serves military pea soup, drinks, sweets.
Note! The launcher ruins are located in the Wolin National Park, which means that all "park" restrictions apply to us, including a ban on bringing dogs. With a dog, we can enter the museum grounds.
