The Valley of Three Ponds, known locally as Sztauwajery, is one of the largest green areas in Katowice for relaxation, sports, and recreation. Here, you will find kilometers of asphalt paths for family bike trips, rollerblading or strolling with a stroller near picturesque ponds. A water playground is also a highlight. At one of the ponds, there is a bathing area with a sandy beach. The Valley of Three Ponds is undoubtedly the most popular place among Katowice residents for relaxation. Cultural events and outdoor parties are also held here.
Roller track and bike lane
The Three Ponds Avenue is the main asphalt track that stretches across the entire valley. It is over 3 km long and is used daily by dozens of cyclists and skaters. The avenue is located near the Muchowiec Airport and is the main track of the Muchowiec Park and the Valley of Three Ponds.

At one of the ponds, we will find a sandy beach and dining establishments. However, the beach is located near the A4 highway - so it can be noisy due to passing cars. Other parts of the park - both from the side of Muchowiec Airport and 艁膮ka pond are much more pleasant for relaxation.
Water playground and paths for stroller walks
In the western part of the park from Pu艂askiego Street, between the 艁膮ka and Kayak ponds, you will find a free, city water playground for children. There are changing rooms and toilets near the playground. In this part of the valley, you will also find shaded asphalt paths perfect for a stroll with a stroller.
Kayak Pond and Oczko
In the area of the Kayak Pond and Oczko, there are dining establishments with loungers and picnic glades for relaxation. Just a moment away from the highway, it becomes quiet and peaceful. You can relax here in the midst of nature, hang a hammock, go for ice cream.
Nature educational trail at Muchowiec Airport
This is a short walking nature trail. Part of the route has been led by wooden footbridges, which allow us to better see the forest floor and its vegetation.
