Rock "Window"
Okiennik Wielki is one of the most recognizable limestone formations in the Krak贸w-Cz臋stochowa Upland. It is famous for its rock hole with a diameter of about 5 meters! According to historians, around the 12th-13th century, there was a wooden defensive settlement at the foot of the rocks; traces of walls were still visible in the 19th century. Below the window, there is a natural cave where archaeologists found flint tools from about 60,000 years ago, from the Middle Paleolithic period.
