Jacek Kuroń Park in Kazimierz Górniczy District, Sosnowiec
This charming park has three small lakes and many attractions, located on the outskirts of the Silesian metropolitan area. It looks like a smaller version of Silesian Park. Here, you will find various attractions and picturesque landscapes, making it an ideal place to spend time outdoors. There is a large playground, kilometers of beautiful and comfortable walking paths, a Mini Zoo, Dino Park, lakes, and a rope park - in short, a plan for the whole day!

Getting There and Parking
The park is located in Kazimierz Górniczy, an eastern district of Sosnowiec. You can easily reach it by direct city bus from Katowice, Sosnowiec, or Dąbrowa Górnicza. There is also a large parking lot next to the park, with portable toilets available.

Jordan Garden - Large and Diverse Playground for Kids
At the very beginning of the park, there is the largest Jordan Garden in Poland, divided into four zones for different age groups. It is equipped with swings, rockers, sand play equipment, as well as musical and recreational devices like a skateboard simulator, rodeo, and a moving line. On hot days, you can cool off at the fountain with splashing water.

Walking Paths, Rest Areas, and Lakes
You can reach other attractions of the park via wide asphalt paths, many of which run along the edges of three ponds. The first one, "Round", has a fountain, then there is the "Forest" pond with a distinctive mushroom and a brine graduation tower. At the end of the park, there is the long Smug Lake. Between the first two ponds, there is a bridge that makes it easy to walk from the Mini Zoo to the Dino Park.

Mini Zoo with Over Thirty Animal Species!
The most interesting place, especially for children, is the Mini Zoo with over thirty animal species. You can admire deer, fallow deer, donkeys, llamas, emus, peacocks, and even a kangaroo in large enclosures! The animals are used to people and often come close to the fences, which brings great joy to children. However, remember that feeding the animals is not allowed.

Dino Park
This is an educational and entertainment area with realistic dinosaur models. The educational path takes you through different geological eras, presenting various dinosaur species and telling about their lives, which is a great combination of learning and fun.

Other Interesting Places in the Park
For the more adventurous, there is the LinaAdrena rope park, offering routes of varying difficulty, built on trees and equipped with various obstacles. There is also a skatepark for teenagers.
