Karkonosze Mountains - the most beautiful trails for older children
Children grow up quickly, and those who have been hiking with their parents since a young age have stamina and capabilities no less than those of many adults.
For ambitious young travelers, we recommend beautiful scenic routes!
Attractive full-day routes in the Karkonosze Mountains
Instead of going back and forth on the same route, it is worth planning a "loop" - we will see more and it will be more interesting!
Such routes can be longer, often requiring a whole day and including many stops along the way.
It is best if there is a mountain hut with a buffet along the way - we can replenish supplies there and won't have to carry a whole day's worth of provisions with us.
Karkonosze Mountains: recommended scenic trails for children
For older kids who are experienced in long hikes, we recommend the Karkonosze loops: with viewpoints, attractions, and mountain huts along the way:
1. Karpacz - Samotnia - Słonecznik - Pielgrzymy
This is a long hike, but without difficult sections. Along the way, there are 2 mountain huts and 2 picturesque rock formations:
Medium
Loop from Karpacz: Samotnia - Słonecznik - Pielgrzymy
2. Jagniątków - Śnieżne Kotły - Pod Łabskim Szczytem Mountain Hut
Do you see how much elevation gain there is here? Over 1000 meters to conquer! However, it won't be as difficult as it seems, and the views will reward the effort:
Medium
Loop: Jagniątkowo - Coral Path - Snowy Kotły - Jagniątkowo
3. Loop to Śnieżka via Jelenka Mountain Hut
This is our most challenging suggestion, mainly due to the high rocky steps along the way:
Difficult
Śnieżka without crowds: loop from Wilcza Poręba
