The red trail to Cergowa Mountain from Lubatowa is one of the less popular routes to the summit. At the top, there is a viewing tower with beautiful views of the Beskid Mountains.

From Lubatowa to Cergowa

The red trail goes through the center of Lubatowa village. If you want to avoid a boring 2 km walk on asphalt, it is a good idea to drive to the place where the trail turns toward the forest.

Red trail to Cergowa from Lubatowa

The first part of the trail goes through the forest. For about 2 km, the path goes uphill, but it is not very difficult and there are no very steep climbs. The harder part starts when you reach the foot of Cergowa. There is a short and steep climb to the ridge - over about 300 m, you gain 100 m in height. In this area you can find the famous landslide caves on Cergowa, including Jaskinia Gdzie spadł samolot I and II and Schronisko Cergowskie V.

The last part, along the ridge to the summit, is not so difficult. You walk for about 1 km on a narrow, almost flat ridge. There are steep slopes on both sides, especially on the north side. Between the trees, you can see small viewpoints.
