Boulevards along the Wisłok - a walk to the Reservoir

A comfortable and safe walking route, also suitable for strollers, cyclists, and rollerbladers. It will take us along the boulevards of the Wisłok river from the city center to the reservoir under Lisia Mountain. There are many attractions along the way!

Walk along the Wisłok - attractions

We can start our walk along the Wisłok boulevards at any point, for example, in the city center - we go down from the Lubomirski Castle to the Castle Bridge.

Around Podpromie Hall

The sports hall on Podpromie street, like all of Rzeszów, is alive with volleyball, hence the monument of the volleyball 'double short', which commemorates the training thought of Jan Strzelczyk and the former and current volleyball players of the Resovia club:

Right next to the sports hall, there is an interesting attraction waiting for us: Rzeszów skatepark. Even if we are not fans of bike, scooter, or skateboard stunts, we must stop by to watch the daredevils perform!

Culture and Recreation Park

From the city center along the Wisłok, in about 15 minutes, we will reach an extensive park: Culture and Recreation Park.

Here we will meet, among others, the monument of Stanisław Nitka - a famous raftman from Rzeszów, who transported people to the other side of the river with his raft:

Reservoir on the Wisłok - attractions

After about 30 minutes of walking along the river and passing through the tunnel at the dam, we will find ourselves on the Rzeszów Reservoir on the Wisłok. There are more attractions waiting for us here! Including playgrounds, food points, water equipment rental, places for a bonfire and a grill:

• the route is mainly in the sun. 
• asphalt alleys, without terrain inclines 
• food points mainly behind the dam and over the Reservoir
• toi-toi toilets
• the alleys along the Wisłok are wide and comfortable. There are lanes for cyclists, and on some sections also "soft" for runners.
