The Black Trail to Po艂onina Wetli艅ska is a peaceful route to Chatka Puchatka. We recommend it especially to those who are concerned about heavy traffic on the most popular trails: the yellow trail from Prze艂臋cz Wy偶na and the red trail from Brzegi G贸rne.
Beginning of the Black Trail in Wetlinka G贸rna
The black markers start at the PKS bus stop, there is also a small parking area, but it is better to park a bit further - at the campsite (a few dozen meters along the black trail). There is also a restaurant and a ticket office for the Bieszczady National Park.
The beginning of the trail leads through meadows - of course with a view of our destination. Additionally, there are small signs with interesting nature facts (this is also an educational path).
Once we enter the forest, the trail slowly ascends, crossing streams, bridges, and gorges.
Intersection of the Black and Yellow Trails
After reaching the intersection with the yellow trail (about an hour from the start of the trail), it becomes steeper (and more crowded), but this is the last short uphill section. After about 45 minutes, we will reach Chatka Puchatka.
Chatka Puchatka on Po艂onina Wetli艅ska
In the new shelter of the Bieszczady National Park, we will find beautiful viewing terraces and a restaurant (the new shelter does not accept reservations for overnight stays!).

From Chatka Puchatka to Wetlina
You can return to the starting point the same way or - if you have the strength and the weather is good - continue along the ridge of Po艂onina Wetli艅ska all the way to Smerek! We will then descend to the center of Wetlina, and from there, we can take a bus back to Wetlinka G贸rna, for example.
