Aleksandrowicka Valley is a short, scenic valley (about 3 km / 1.9 mi long) in the village of Aleksandrowice, just outside Kraków (Krakow). It lies within the protected Tenczyński Landscape Park. It is less known and less dramatic than the popular valleys near Kraków—good for visitors looking for quieter, more "wild" places close to the city.
- You can reach Aleksandrowice by suburban buses 228 and 298 from Bronowice Małe in Kraków; get off at the "Aleksandrowice" stop.
- There is a small shop near the bus stop in Aleksandrowice.
- The trail runs through the forest most of the time, in the shade of trees.
- Warning: parts of the trail pass close to cliff edges. If you are with children, do not let them run ahead. Wear sturdy shoes.
- From the viewpoint on Krzywy Sąd rock you can watch planes taking off from Kraków Airport (KRK). Bring binoculars and check departure times on flightradar24.com.
Trail start — Aleksandrowice stadium
The trail starts at a free parking area with wooden shelters and information boards, opposite the KS Topór Aleksandrowice stadium. Follow the educational path marked with red signs. At the beginning there is a short climb up onto the rocks that form the valley.

Krzywy Sąd rock — viewpoint and legend
The main attraction is Krzywy Sąd (also called Krzywosąd), a steep limestone rock made of hard Jurassic limestone, about 15–18 m high. On the top there is a viewpoint with safety railings. You can see a wide panorama toward the mountains and the runway of Kraków Airport (in Balice), with planes taking off.
According to legend, Count Mateusz from the castle in Morawica found a cave full of treasure. His squire, who witnessed the discovery, was unfairly sentenced and pushed from the rock—hence the name "Crooked Judgment" (Krzywy Sąd). Soon after, the count was punished by a deadly viper bite, and the treasure was never found.

The trail then continues through the forest along the rocky ridge.

You can make a loop and return to the parking lot along the red trail. The second part of the loop is more overgrown and includes a Stations of the Cross path.
Ponds in Aleksandrowice
After leaving the valley, you can walk to two nearby ponds. One has a small island with willow trees. There are benches, fire pits, and grill areas. Use open fire only where it is allowed and follow local rules.
