This is not a typical tourist attraction, but it is very unusual. It is the only working structure of this kind in Poland. Its doughnut-like shape and its height, taller than nearby high-rise buildings, are impressive. Inside this steel structure there are as much as 3,000 cubic meters of water. That is about the amount of water one person in Poland uses at home over 83 years.

The water tower was built in 1980, based on a design by scientists from the Warsaw University of Technology. It is still used today by the people of Tarn贸w. It helps keep water pressure stable in nearby housing areas.

Unfortunately, visitors cannot go inside, but you can get quite close to it.
