Attractions for Little (and Big!) Train Lovers
Old steam engines, historic train sets, carriages, and tracks have something magical about them. For years, they have inspired generations of children to build mini-models for their trains and read and watch stories about locomotives. Could this passion lead them to collect real "iron and steel" exhibits one day? Maybe they'll even build their own train station and lay tracks where there were none before!

The owners of the private Czernichów Główny Museum Station, called "The Last Train," made this dream come true. What's more, they share their treasures, passion, and knowledge with their guests!

What Can We See at Czernichów Główny Museum Station?
In this quiet, cozy private "open-air" museum, you will learn many interesting facts about the exhibits: locomotives, carriages, signal boxes, water cranes (full list on the website ostatniakolejka.pl), board old locomotives, and learn the secret language of semaphores...

take a short ride on a hand-powered rail cart...

play outdoors (e.g., with giant LokoBlocks)...

...relax in a charming gazebo with a cup of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate!

Maybe Something More?
Czernichów Główny Museum Station also organizes special activities, for example, for preschool groups. You can organize a bonfire, birthday party, or other event here: outdoors or in a large tent.

The Last Train - Practical Information
Getting There: You can drive your car, but the museum does not have a designated parking area (except for organized events). You can also reach it by public transport (lines 229 and 249 from Salwator terminal). From Czernichów Rynek stop, it's a 5-10 minute walk to the station. A bike trip along the Vistula embankments could also be a fun option, and there's a ferry nearby (bikes and pedestrians ride for free). You can check the ferry's schedule on the Czernichów Municipality website (ferry operation depends on the Vistula's water level).

Visiting: A guided tour of the train collection lasts about 30 minutes, and the rail cart ride covers a distance of several dozen meters. You can move around the museum with a stroller, use the restroom, and find a changing table. Dogs are not allowed.
Current opening hours are best checked on the website or Facebook page.
