The observation tower in Krynica-Zdr贸j is a wooden structure reinforced with steel at the top of the S艂otwiny Arena ski resort. We went up by chairlift and decided to walk back down.
We admired the landscapes while walking among the treetops and had fun with interactive panels located along the wooden path. These interactive panels provide information about the nature and legends of this region. By playing a wooden game, you can learn about the geological structure of the area, and by matching rotating leaves and trees, you can discover different species of trees. There is also a multimedia panel where you can select characters like ghosts, dwarves, witches, and listen to legends. We noticed that more panels were being installed, so there might be even more now.
These panels are mainly aimed at children, but adults can also learn interesting things and have fun together with their children.
The tower is very accessible for little ones, as there are high safety nets everywhere. Parents can even push a stroller almost to the top on the wooden ramp.
We enjoyed the gastronomy options, and soon there will also be a slide available. At the top, there are mainly small bars, but at the foot of the mountain, there are various gastronomic points, restaurants, bars, and food stalls.
We highly recommend this place to everyone, both young and old. It is perfect for family outings on lazy Sunday afternoons and for school trips during the week. Remember to dress warmly during windy weather!
