You Can Touch Everything Here!
Attention, do not touch the exhibits - this is probably the most hated sign by children in museum halls. At the Museum of Illusions, you can touch, move, grab, conduct experiments yourself, and draw conclusions. It has been proven that this way we learn and remember the knowledge best.

...and if you don't understand something or want to know more, ask the guides! You can explore the museum individually, at your own pace and order (you can also return to your favorite spots), but if you need support, explanations, or instructions, the guides present in each room are happy to help and answer any questions.
Something for Everyone
One of the few places that will interest children of practically any age. Krakil will delight both teenagers, preschoolers, and parents: it's an ideal proposal for family visits, especially for families with children of a large age difference, where it's particularly difficult to choose attractions so that one or the other child doesn't get bored.
For younger children, there are platforms that make it easier to reach the experiment tables.
What Will We See at the Museum of Illusions?
Magical Chinese Mirrors that reflect the image on their back wall and a mirascope creating a mirage effect - all hands tried to reach the pig that seemed to be within their reach, only to be surprised when it turned out it wasn't there!

Convenient Opening Hours
Have you ever tried to return from school, work, and then visit places usually open until 5 PM? We didn't even attempt such challenges - they were doomed to fail... The Museum of Illusions is open until the evening! (current opening hours). Our preschool-school brigade managed to eat lunch after returning from classes and we went on an evening trip to the museum - without stress, we managed to visit the exhibition.
Great Location
The museum is located in the city center, near Planty, close to the Filharmonia stop. It is a convenient location for both tourists and residents.
KRAKIL: Practical Information
The museum halls are on two floors - visiting with a stroller is therefore difficult. If you have a baby with you, it's worth bringing a sling or carrier, and leaving the stroller at the ticket office (there is a large cloakroom available for visitors).
Reserve at least an hour for the visit (better even 1.5 hours).
At the entrance, there is a souvenir shop with lots of gadgets that will allow you to take a bit of magic home.
